This post is part of a series in partnership with Raleigh Supercon.
If I hadn’t really been paying attention to one of my Supercon reminder emails, I would have completely missed that the con has an app. After downloading it, I realized that this app is going to be my lifeline all weekend.
Raleigh Supercon is the longest and biggest con Trae and I have ever attended. I was getting overwhelmed looking at the schedule online. I wasn’t sure how I was going to keep everything straight and not miss some super snazzy panels or Q&A’s. Now I don’t have to worry about it because the app has it all.
With the app, you can create a schedule and set up reminders, so you don’t miss a thing! If you are like me and tend to get a little OCD when it comes to time management, the app will free you from the urge to check your phone every 10 minutes because everything, including reminders, can be prescheduled. The schedule also has a map, so you know exactly where to go and won’t get lost.
I also really like how the app breaks everything down into categories. This way you can search for activities that interest you in a particular category without having to wade through those activities that don’t interest you in another area.
Another thing I like is that app doesn’t list all three days activity on one screen, but breaks it up in a tab system with each day having its own tab. To me, this makes the numerous and diverse activities less overwhelming.
I am not going to lie, I was getting a little nervous about navigating such a large con. Now, with my app and pre-made schedule, I feel good and ready to conquer this con!
